Neuer Dringender Unterstützungsaufruf Kurdisches Fraueninformationszentrum REPAK! |

Wir haben eine dringende neue Nachricht von Meral Cicek, der Vorsitzenden des Kurdischen Fraueninformationszentrums REPAK erhalten. Sie schreibt (eigene Übersetzung):
"Nach dem Angriff auf unser Büro in Erbil/Irak Kurdistan durch KRG sicherheitskräfte, der faktischen Schließung unseres Büros und und unserer Ausweisung erhielten wir große Unterstützung durch Frauenorganisationen und NGOs aus Kurdistan und aller Welt. Wir möchten euch herzlich für diese Solidarität danken.
Trotzdem geht die feindliche Haltung gegen unsere Organisation weiter. Offizielle Stellen haben weder eine Stellungnahme noch eine Begründung abgegeben. Wir können Erbil, die Stadt, in der wir leben und arbeiten, immer noch nicht betreten. Gleichzeitig sind unser Inventar und unsere persönlichen Sachen immer noch beschlagnahmt - wieder ohne Gerichtsbeschluss oder offizielle Anweisung.
Im Anhang findet ihr eine Solidaritäts-/Protesterklärung. Wir möchten Unterschriften von Frauenorganisationen und Aktivistinnen aus der ganzen Welt sammeln und sie dem Premierminister der Kurdischen Regionalen Regierung zu übergeben.
Wir bitten euch unsere Erklärung zu unterstützen und uns Name, Organisation und Land bis spätestens Freitag, den 17.06.16, zu übermitteln (die Woche dort beginnt am Sonntag)..
Wir schicken euch die Protestklärung im Anhang in Englisch und Deutsch. Bitte schickt die englische Version mit euren Daten weiter.
Wir bitten euch diesen Aufruf weiter zu verbreiten.

"Betreff: Declaration of support to REPAK
Dear all,
After the raid against our office in Erbil/Iraqi Kurdistan by KRG security forces, the de-facto closure and our deportation we received great support from women organisations and NGOs in Kurdistan and all over the world. We would like to thank you for your meaningful solidarity.
Nevertheless the unlawful attitude against our organisation is continuing and the officials have not made any statement or explanation yet. We are still not able to enter Erbil, the city we were working and living. At the same time our inventory and our personal belongings are still seized - again without any court decision or any other official order.
Attached you'll find a support declaration. We aim to collect signatures of women's organisations and activists from all over the world and to hand over this declaration officially to the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
We ask you to support our declaration and send us your details (name, organisation and country) by Friday (17 June) at the latest as here the week begins on Sunday.
We kindly ask you also to distribute this call throughout your contacts.

Protest Note
To the Kurdistan Regional GovernmentÂÂÂ Iraqi Kurdistan
We, the undersigned women's organisations and activists condemn the raid against the Kurdish Women's Relation Office (REPAK), the closure of its premises in Erbil and the deportation of its staff on 5 June 2016 by armed KRG security forces.
The office of REPAK, which was founded and is carrying out its activities according to KRG law, was raided and closed in an arbitrary way, without any court decision or official order. The members of staff that were deported from the city they were living and working in a lawless and arbitrary way are banned to enter the city. Despite all efforts the officials still have not made any explanation or statement in this case.
We, the undersigned believe in democracy, human rights and rule of law as indispensable values for each society. The unique path for a peaceful coexistence of diversities leads through respect for democratic principles and fundamental rights and freedoms.
All over the world women do play a leading role in the implementation of these democratic principles, fundamental rights and freedoms. The more women take their place in all areas of life, especially in political, social and economical processes freely and as subjects it will be possible to move towards democratisation.
In this sense we the undersigned call the Kurdistan Regional Government to restore the rights of REPAK and to end the anti-democratic attitude on the organisation on the basis of the rule of law. REPAK is an organisation that plays an important role in informing the public on the struggle and situation of Kurdish women, which strongly inspire the world women with their resistance. We call you to support these efforts and to lift all barriers to its activities.
